The Japanese company Nintendo has officially unveiled a new model of the portable console DS — Nintendo DSi.
The body of the console has become 12% thinner than that of the DS Lite. But the screen is 0.25" larger. The DSi has a display diagonal of 3.25". The DSi has improved playback quality and sound control, and added two cameras — 3-megapixel on the outside of the set-top box and 0.3-megapixel inside. Using an external camera, you can take photos, save them to an SD memory card, and then view them on the big screen through the Wii.
The new console will also have two screens, but only one of them will be touch, like in the DS.
