Wide for Nikon amateur DSLRs armed with an APS-C format image sensor (with a crop factor of 1.5x relative to the size of full-frame sensors). The equivalent focal length of the lens is exactly 30mm, which makes it a multi-purpose solution for shooting landscapes and architecture, street photography and all sorts of other subjects. Also, the model is well optimized for use in conjunction with Nikon full frames.

The optical design of the Nikon 20mm f / 1.8G AF-S ED Nikkor contains 13 elements in 11 groups, including two ED glass lenses and two aspherical elements. Glare and ghosting are eliminated by Nano Crystal Coat on the front lens. On the front of the lens, you can hook filters with a diameter of 77 mm. Inside the wide-angle, an ultrasonic SWM autofocus motor is installed, which provides smooth and accurate focus from a distance of 20 cm. The aperture of the model is ordinary — 7-blade. With a body size of 83x81 mm, the lens weighs 335 g.
