The tightening force is adjusted via a 21-position clutch (maximum torque 73 Nm). The all‑metal keyless chuck ensures secure holding of all types of hex bits and round drill bits with shank diameters from 1.5 to 13 mm. In this configuration, the drill/driver comes with a plastic carrying case, a charger, and two Makita 18V LXT 5 Ah lithium‑ion batteries.
