The device is made in the form of a soundbar and combines a camera, speakers, microphones, a microprocessor, and permanent/RAM memory in one housing. The key feature of the Logitech Rally Bar webcam is the presence of two cameras, one of which (the main one) captures high/ultra-high definition video for broadcast, and the second small wide-angle AI Viewfinder camera covers the entire room and provides data for the operation of intelligent AI functions used for automatic settings.

Two operating modes are supported: paired with a PC/laptop and standalone. In the first mode (USB Mode), the device is connected to a computer and used as a regular webcam with a built-in microphone and speakers. The second mode (Appliance mode) uses its own microprocessor, thanks to which the web camera turns into a completely autonomous device that allows video conferencing on the platforms Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and some others. To set up work offline, Android clients for video conferencing are used (Microsoft Teams Rooms on Android, Zoom Rooms, GoToRoom, RingCentral Rooms, Pexip Room, Tencent Meeting Rooms).
