The line of 15-inch laptops produced by Lenovo are representatives of the IdeaPad series, that is, portable computers for everyday tasks, including study or work. Within the family there are both budget models and solutions in the mid-price segment. Moreover, even initial configurations can offer the user small dimensions (thickness 18 mm), moderate weight (1.62 kg) and a good level of strength (compliance with the MIL-STD-810 protective standard). All Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 15ABR8 laptops received an IPS screen with a diagonal of 15.6 inches, a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a TÜV Rheinland certificate, which confirms the safety of the display for vision. The hardware components are based on the AMD platform and are represented by Barcelo R (Zen 3) processors - ranging from 4-core Ryzen 3 engines to Ryzen 7 with 8 cores. There is also an integrated Radeon Vega graphics card and at least 8 GB of RAM (16 GB in some versions). For data storage there is a 512 GB SSD M.2 solid-state drive, and a 47 Wh battery is responsible for a good reserve of operating time away from outlets (up to 10 hours). By the way, the battery supports USB C (Power Delivery) and fast charging: to get another 2 hours of autonomy, just connect it to the network for 15 minutes. Additional useful features of the family models include an island-type keyboard with 4 additional keys, a webcam with a privacy shutter, and a completely standard set of interfaces, including one USB C 3.2 gen1 port.
