I've been using these headphones for exactly 6 years now. The sound hasn't changed at all. Comfortable ergonomics, long and soft cable, there are adapters (never used them). I have been using UR-20 regularly for 9 years! The leatherette upholstery of the ear pads has, of course, long since fallen into disrepair, and the foam inside has also crumbled, but besides this, the headphones work perfectly without a hint of hardening of the wire, cracking of the plastic or degradation of the speakers. Incredible "like before" quality and indestructibility. Absolutely do not press on the ears thanks to the extremely soft spring. Gorgeous sound with a good audio output. The classic non-folding plastic design is perfect for stationary use. The headband is very flexible and can even be twisted. The bowls are conveniently adjustable in height with a large margin.
Ear pads cover the ear completely, providing excellent sound isolation. The single-sided wire is long (2.4 m) and thick, does not twist over time, and is reinforced with rubber protection at the junction with the bowl. It is also important that the headphones fit comfortably, even if the user wears glasses. These two things do not interfere with each other.

The model is perfect for various needs: games, listening to music, radio, watching movies, while it is not initially positioned as a monitor, and does not put forward high requirements for sound. But all frequencies are heard more or less intelligibly, with a predominance of low and middle, but high-quality highs can only be achieved with the help of equalization.
However, for an inexperienced listener, such a cut in HF is unlikely to be very noticeable. For those who, at the first acquaintance, it seems that the bass is too mumbling, and the middle is blurred, the equalizer will help. It is quite possible to achieve a good sound picture with it.
Likewise with volume. You will have to adjust it only on the signal source, since there is no volume control on the headphones themselves: neither on the case nor on the cable.
Anyway, the UR 20 deserves a standing ovation and for several years now has been considered one of the best closed-type low-cost over-ear headphones in the niche, and congratulations to them.
