Kobo Stylus 2

An accessory for Kobo e-reader owners, designed for working with notes and annotations in digital documents. The device is compatible with four e-reader models — Kobo Libra Color, Kobo Sage, Kobo Elipsa, and Kobo Elipsa 2E, allowing owners of different generations of this brand's e-readers to use it. The main purpose of the accessory is the ability to make handwritten notes directly on e-book pages and PDF files, highlight important fragments, and create personal entries in notebook mode.

The Kobo Stylus 2 features 4096 levels of pressure sensitivity, providing precision in writing and drawing akin to using a regular pen on paper. The design includes a built-in eraser on the end for quick error removal and a separate marker button that activates text highlighting mode with one press. For Kobo Libra Color, color annotations are available — different shades can be chosen for marking and writing, enhancing options for visual information organization.

The device supports editing gestures: strikethrough for deletion, encircling for highlighting, speeding up text handling. A practical feature allows converting handwritten notes to typewritten text, making entries easy to read and copy. Charging is via a USB-C port, with the indicator showing the battery status in orange when charging and white when fully charged. For Kobo Libra Color and Kobo Elipsa 2E models, the stylus attaches magnetically to the side of the device, reducing the risk of losing the accessory during transport. Two spare nibs are included. Weighing 13.8 grams for the black variant and 14.5 grams for the white.
