OpenSound Technology

The JBL Soundgear Sense is the debut open-back headphone in the brand's lineup. The use of OpenSound technology has allowed the drivers to be larger (16.2 mm in diameter), which increases peak volume, sensitivity (up to 112 dB) and overall sound quality. Sound waves are directed directly into the auricle, but the ear canal is not completely closed, which ensures comfort, safety and the ability to hear loud sounds from outside, such as an approaching car.

With the JBL Headphones app, you can change touch controls (such as volume) and customize the EQ profile, including a bass-boosting mode.

Other benefits

The headphones are equipped with 4 microphones (2 on each element) and support cVc noise reduction technology. This algorithm not only eliminates interference, but also increases the volume of speech, which allows the interlocutor to clearly hear your words.

Additionally, there are Multipoint functions and support for voice assistants, including Siri, as well as the ability to quickly charge - just 15 minutes provide 4 hours of operation. The total charging cycle takes 2 hours. The headphones can operate autonomously for up to 6 hours in music listening mode, and with a charging case - up to a day.

Water resistance is IP54, which may not satisfy demanding amateur athletes, as the headphones should be protected from heavy rain. Overall, the JBL Soundgear Sense is a good choice for both sports and everyday use, including private calls.
