JBL PartyBox On-The-Go (JBLPARTYBOXGOBRU)
![]() |
A massive portable speaker from the PartyBox series, which in terms of its dimensions and functionality is a modern variation of a portable boombox. Positioned as a high-end all-in-one product from the 2021 JBL lineup. The main features of the model: built-in mixing console, wireless microphone included, convenient carrying strap, built-in visual special effects and powerful sound.
Large, high-quality speakers paired with a 100W amplifier will rock any sour party, while IPX4 water resistance makes it a potential hero of any outdoor, beach or pool party. If for some reason the available power is not enough, PartyBoost support makes it possible to connect several compatible speakers to each other, creating a complete stereo system. For wireless connection of the device to the sound source, the Bluetooth 4.2 interface is used, which can operate stably at a distance of up to 10 m.
In addition to wireless connection, you can play your favorite music from a USB flash drive (a USB port is provided for this). Thanks to the microphone that comes with the speaker, JBL PartyBox On-The-Go can be used as a karaoke system. It is also worth noting that despite the solid power and weight of 7.5 kg, the speaker turned out to be not too big and therefore it does not create any difficulties when carrying from place to place.

Bought it for all occasions. However, it didn't live up to expectations. The microphone is unidirectional and clearly not for stage performance. More of a murmur than a clear sound. There's no significant 100-watt sound here. At best, you get 30-50 watts. It's purely for fun. Great for singing with guests. A good option for event hosts, celebrations. Suitable for a guide on a bus. The sound is a solid 4 if used in a small room. If you're thinking about organizing celebrations and weddings, about a disco, and so on – forget it. Even for street musicians, it's problematic. Though it might work in subways or other enclosed spaces. I’d love to listen to two such speakers together, but buying a second one blindly feels risky, and I don't have extra money. Too quiet. use JBL PartyBox On-The-Go less than month |
The speaker was taken for outdoor performances with the connection of an instrumental microphone, but it did not meet expectations - it's too quiet. I have 2 Jbl speakers - the Extreme and this one. The Extreme is quite an option for small rooms, I specifically bought the On-The-Go for outdoor use, to connect a microphone and pump up the surrounding area. But it turned out to be quiet; on a pedestrian street where there are a lot of background noises, the sound disperses and you can only be heard nearby. For indoor play and with microphone connection - fantastic, you can tweak the reverb, pleasant sound. Also, a great option for an apartment and a cottage. Played a lot this summer outside - weddings, performances on pedestrian streets, it doesn't fit for this because it's quiet. |
