The JBL Bar 5.1 Surround soundbar can connect to an audio source in six different ways: including "over the air" using an integrated Wi-Fi controller and Bluetooth module, through the Ethernet LAN port, via the standard HDMI 2.0 interface (up to UltraHD/4K at 60 fps inclusive), through the optical input, and wired analog interface with a 3-pin mini-Jack 3.5mm connector. It also supports content playback from connected USB drives. Support for popular formats Dolby Digital, Dolby Pro Logic II, and DTS ensures full surround sound, which is especially important for watching blockbuster movies and gaming. Streams from gadgets via AirPlay 2 or Chromecast technologies are supported. There are 5 equalizer profiles and the possibility of manual customization. A microphone for system calibration is included.
