The range of 15-inch laptops from HP presents the Victus series, which combines entry-level and mid-range gaming portable PCs. Models in the family are likely to attract not the most demanding and/or budget-conscious gamers. For display output, there's an IPS screen with a 15.6-inch diagonal, a resolution of 1920 by 1080 pixels, and features desirable in gaming, including a fast response (in top solutions 9 ms) and an increased refresh rate (up to 144 Hz).
However, the main image parameters are basic (including 250 nits brightness and modest color coverage). All HP Victus 15-fa1000 laptops are based on the Intel platform and come with an NVIDIA GeForce discrete graphics card. Entry-level versions boast a 12th generation Core i5 engine and a budget RTX 2050 graphics accelerator with 4 GB of video memory. Senior family members are equipped with a 13th generation processor with hybrid Raptor Lake microarchitecture and a more advanced RTX 4050 graphics adapter, ensuring relatively high fps in current AAA games.
Among other model features worth highlighting are at least 8 GB of DDR4 RAM, an SSD M.2 solid-state drive with 512 GB, a Bang & Olufsen brand stereo acoustic system, and a battery with fast charging support (it takes just 30 minutes to replenish 50% capacity). The laptops also provide a white backlit keyboard and a gigabit LAN port for stable internet connectivity (plus there's also a Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 6 module).
