The HP Sprocket 200 is a miniature photo printer, the size of which resembles a regular smartphone (118x80x25 mm). The model is designed to work with mobile devices running Android or iOS.
Mobile application
The printer connects to a smartphone or tablet via Bluetooth wireless protocol. However, that's not all - first you need to install the HP Sprocket app on your mobile device. This app allows you to edit photos before sending them to print, add various effects, frames and filters. With its help, you can print photos directly from social networks without saving them on your smartphone.
ZINK branded photo paper
The model uses special HP ZINK Sticky-Backed Photo Paper. Printing is possible without borders, with a maximum print size of 50 x 76 mm. The printer's loading tray can hold up to 10 sheets of this paper. Printed photos slide out of the printer, but do not fall out - they partially remain inside the case.
Battery powered
The device is powered by a 550 mAh battery. The battery is charged via a microUSB connector. The main drawback of the model is considered to be imperfect color rendering. However, the printer is not intended for professional photo printing - as a device for entertainment, the HP Sprocket 200 fully justifies its price.
