G.Skill Flare X5 DDR5 is a DDR5 RAM kit with impressive startup speed, large memory capacity and attractive appearance. The set belongs to the upper price category and consists of two 32 GB DDR5 modules (frequency 5200) with an impressive throughput of 41600 MB/s. In sum, this provides a serious amount of high-speed RAM, the speed indicators of which are 2 times faster than the speed of standard DDR4 strips.

The RAM modules are based on a new memory microarchitecture with a new power management chip and a dedicated control controller, which have reduced power consumption while significantly increasing throughput. The memory is part of the updated Flare series, all products of which have been designed specifically for the AMD platform. In this case, we are talking about socket AM5 and Ryzen 7000 processors, which AMD introduced at the end of 2022.

Instead of the usual XMP technology with built-in settings profiles, it relies on an alternative AMD development called EXPO.
