Inexpensive width for the Fujifilm X mirrorless system, which consists of a number of cropped cameras with an APS-C image sensor. In terms of full frame equivalent, the Fujifilm XF 23mm f/2.0 R WR is a classic 35mm prime. Such lenses easily perform any task, whether it is shooting indoors or outdoors. The model in question is made in a compact form factor to match the "carcasses" of Fujifilm X cameras, many of which are produced in vintage retro design.

An optical design of 10 elements in 6 groups, a 9-blade aperture and an autofocus stepper motor with a focus speed of 0.05 sec. were packed into a small lens body. On the outside of the body of the fix, there was a place for manual focus and aperture rings. The lens is protected from dust and moisture, and frost resistance is also claimed for it — up to a temperature of -10 °C. The model weighs only 180 g, and the diameter of the thread for filters near its front lens is 43 mm.
