The small weight of the Fisher F22 metal detector (1.05 kg) is successfully combined with its selectivity and good ergonomics. The ability to adjust the working length of the rod (105-130 mm) makes it possible to use the metal detector for a user of any height. On a flat surface, the working length of the rod can be increased for a larger swing radius of the coil, which in turn increases the search speed.

The waterproof control unit is equipped with a large and high contrast LCD screen, which displays all the information. Capable of detecting massive objects at a depth of up to 75 cm, and small coins can be found under a 25 cm layer of soil or sand. The metal detector requires only 2 alkaline AA batteries to operate, the energy of which is enough for 20-30 hours of use (it also works with NiMH batteries).
