The manufacturer positions the Dell Pro 14 Plus PB14255 ultrabooks as universal solutions for a wide range of tasks: from less complex office work with documents and spreadsheets to professional multimedia processing, 3D rendering, and machine learning.
The laptop is equipped with a full-size keyboard with a numeric keypad, white backlighting, and a dedicated button for calling Copilot. The webcam supports Full HD video recording, facial biometric authentication, and has a physical shutter. Additional security is provided by a fingerprint scanner and a smart card slot. Smart cards can be used for secure login to the operating system, network, or specific resources, preventing unauthorized access.
The port set includes several USB4 ports with Thunderbolt 4 and HDMI 2.1 support; a card reader, as in higher-end modifications, is not available here. Wireless connectivity is provided by Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 modules. Depending on the modification, the devices can be equipped with AMD Ryzen processors based on the Zen 4 architecture (Hawk Point series) or more advanced Ryzen PRO chips on the Strix Point architecture with Zen 5 microarchitecture. The most powerful processor versions are also equipped with high-performance integrated Radeon 860M graphics, providing performance almost at the level of discrete GeForce RTX 1650. All models are equipped with 14-inch VA panels with a resolution of 1920x1200 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. The screens operate at a 60 Hz refresh rate and cover 45% of the NTSC color space.
