Model overview based on user reviews
The DAddario Student Nylon 29-45 strings are designed for classical guitars and are well-regarded for their durability, quality materials, and sound. Users have noted that while the tension feels slightly tighter than typical "medium" tension, this does not detract from their overall performance. These strings are particularly suitable for those who have been playing for some time, as beginners might prefer a softer option. After several months of use, the strings maintain their integrity, with only minor wear on the winding of the lower strings, which does not affect playability. Overall, these strings are a reliable choice, with no reports of breakage even after extended use.
Pros
Cons
Installed the set six months ago. Considering that I play 5-6 hours a week, during this time the winding on the 4/5/6 strings, in the places where they contact the frets, has slightly changed color (partially worn off) but doesn't hinder playing. 1/2/3 are like new. The tension seems slightly stronger than the usual "medium." If you're picking up a guitar for the first time, you might want to look for something softer. But if you've been playing for some time, you won't regret getting these. Durability, materials, sound. The tension feels slightly tighter than what is usually considered "medium" |
5 months use - everything is super I bought it when I started learning guitar. Since then, not a single broken string. - |
