A wired computer mouse with a pronounced gaming orientation, positioned by the manufacturer in the lower part of the average price range. The model is connected to a computer or laptop via a classic flexible 1.8-metre wire, protected from sharp bends by a special braid. The model is notable for moderately aggressive body design, a special thumb rest and 6 buttons that can be programmed to perform various commands.

At the same time, thanks to the built-in memory, the settings will not be lost when the device is connected to another PC. The Corsair Ironclaw RGB mouse is equipped with a high-quality PixArt 3391 sensor with a maximum resolution of 18000 dpi, providing high-speed cursor movement. To reduce this parameter, there is a DPI switch, which should be used when the game has less dynamics, but more aiming actions. Two buttons are placed on the side surface, which allows you to use your thumb, which means to increase the speed of action. Omron switches are responsible for precise operation and safety of the keys, and the ergonomic design provides a comfortable palm grip.

Model overview based on user reviews
The Corsair Ironclaw RGB is a gaming mouse that stands out for its excellent sensor and comfortable shape, making it suitable for extended use. It features customizable RGB lighting through Corsair's iCUE software, enhancing the gaming experience with dynamic effects. However, the mouse has some drawbacks, particularly with the scroll wheel, which users found to be stiff and prone to malfunction. The side rubber grips and plastic parts show wear after several months, and the mouse's size may not suit everyone. Despite these issues, the mouse is lightweight and has a premium feel due to its metal front, though its price is considered high for a wired model. Overall, it is a decent choice if you can overlook its minor flaws.

decent gaming mouse with a GORGEOUS sensor
9 September 2020
this mouse would be perfect if not for one thing... This mouse is very comfortable, it's possible to use it for a long time without discomfort. The software is very functional, allowing you to adjust the lighting according to the processor's temperature, in rainbow colors, all with just one click. The front of the mouse is made of metal, although it's not entirely clear why, but it adds a certain seriousness to the mouse. The mouse is perfectly balanced, gliding smoothly on the mat. The main buttons are easy to press, the side ones are absolutely fantastic, but the scroll wheel is not that great. When I turn it, it makes a very unpleasant sound and click, and pressing the scroll wheel is quite stiff (useful in games, but not for work); the scrolling is very light and not very pleasant. Maybe I have a faulty one, but it's really unpleasant when an otherwise perfect mouse, in my view, has a clearly noticeable flaw. Otherwise, the mouse is quite worthy, and I recommend considering it for purchase.

The wheel was very disappointing, as if it had been taken out of a cheap mouse, maybe I have a marriage, I don’t know (

If you buy a new one every year, it's a decent mouse for its price.

After a year of use, the side rubber has worn out, and the front metal part of the mouse collects a lot of dust, which is impossible to clean without disassembling it, of course.

I do not recommend purchasing this mouse.

After a year of use, I can finally write a review. In fact, before this there were many rumors that Corsair products are hugely expensive and of mediocre quality, but regardless of this, I took this mouse. After a year of use, for some reason it begins to seem that the rumors are partly true.
1. Excellent sensor. No doubt about it. However, I must note that I didn't feel much difference compared to my previous mouse, Bloody V3M. Of course, I didn't conduct the most detailed tests on disruptions and so on, but still.
2. Lighting. If you download the software, the lighting is really cool. In some games, it changes automatically depending on the situation (in Far Cry New Dawn, it changed to white and pink).
3. Beautiful box.
4. Despite its size, the mouse is quite lightweight.
1. Mouse materials. A few months after purchase, the side rubber grips started to wear off (see photo). The plastic on the right mouse button also began to wear off, but only after 6-8 months (also in the photo).
2. The mouse wheel works terribly. The middle mouse button is nearly impossible to press, and the scroll wheel malfunctions due to weak detents. Let me explain: If you don't fully turn the wheel to a detent, it will complete the turn by itself after some time. This often happened during shooter games, where it would change weapons on its own.
And this is not to mention that the wheel is awful right out of the box: it's very stiff to press and, as mentioned, the detents are weak.
3. Price. Corsair, premium brand, blah blah.
4. Shape (subjectively). The mouse is BIG. Holding it is not always comfortable.
