Cold Steel Double Safe Hunter

Folding knife brand Cold Steel can be attributed to solutions of the middle price category. It is intended for hiking and hunting, but can also be used for other outdoor activities. The blade, 85 mm long and 3 mm thick, is well prepared for various scenarios of active use. It is made of 8Cr13MoV steel with decent corrosion resistance and a good level of hardness (reported at 57 HRC), which means that the smooth cutting edge should maintain its sharpness for a long time.

The Cold Steel Double Safe Hunter has an original bowie profile with a concave butt, a false blade and a slightly raised point. It combines good cutting efficiency and ease of injection. The handle pads are made of GFN reinforced fiberglass, so the user can count on a good margin of safety. The handle has a sub-finger recess, supplemented with a hole for a strap (lanyard) and is completed with a pocket clip. A tri-ad lock with a ribbed pin is responsible for bringing the product into working position. There is also a limiter that prevents accidental closing of the blade and protects against injury to the fingers.
