A modern classic in the form of a fast “fifty kopecks” for hardcore photographers — although the lens draws a razor-sharp picture with perfect bokeh, however, focus in the process of shooting will happen purely in the old fashioned way, i.e. manually. The point is that Carl Zeiss Milvus 1.4 / 50 belongs to the manual optics family, which is a special philosophy of the German brand Zeiss.

Convenience in target acquisition is added by the smooth running of the focus ring (within 270 °) and the detailed distance scale. The lens was designed to suit the requirements of modern cameras equipped with high-resolution sensors. Its work is possible in tandem with Nikon and Canon full-frame SLR cameras. Depending on the sharpness of the model for a particular system, the weight of the lens varies from 875 g (Nikon) to 922 g (Canon). Of course, "fifty kopecks" cannot be classified as nimble reporter's "glasses", however, in a leisurely shooting of landscapes or portraits, the lens reveals itself in all its glory.

Everything is relative: interchangeable lenses for cameras from third-party manufacturersLenses from alternative brands: money down the drain or an increase in image quality?
