an 8-inch model from the “cheaper than nowhere” category, addressed to unassuming users or kids as a multimedia tablet. For more than watching videos online or surfing the web on the World Wide Web, the Amazon Kindle Fire HD 8 8GB is not strong enough. The thing is that the model got at its disposal a far from the first freshness MediaTek MT8135 chip, two cores of which operate at a clock frequency of 1.5 GHz and two more at 1.2 GHz.
The amount of memory on board the tablet was distributed in the ratio of 1 GB of RAM against 8 GB of ROM. To compensate for the lack of free space for storing user data, support for microSD cards (up to 128 GB inclusive) is called for. The display of the model, stretched diagonally by exactly 8", is characterized by HD-resolution of the displayed image (1280x800 pixels) and a good margin of maximum brightness (by the standards of ultra-low-cost workers, of course).
The tablet keeps in touch with the outside world through Wi-Fi networks. Running Android, out of the box, the device does not have access to the Google Play Market. In return, users are encouraged to download applications from the Amazon branded market and use the services of the Alexa voice assistant. The battery life of the tablet is estimated by the ability to work without recharging for 8-9 hours in video player mode.
