With SteadyClock FS, the Fireface UCX II is equipped with RME's latest clock and jitter suppression technology. Based on femtosecond clock speeds, SteadyClock FS reduces native jitter when converting to and from analog in all digital formats to a new all-time low. It allows you to record to USB sticks or hard drives up to 2TB. The recording functionality is provided by the internal DSP and is therefore independent of the connected Windows or Mac computer. Alternatively, this USB port can be used to directly connect an optional RME ARC USB remote control.
