— brushes for applying correctors — special tools that mask certain skin imperfections — acne, rashes, age spots, etc. Most often they are similar in shape to classic foundation brushes — they have a flat working part, rounded in front, with even side edges. However, there are other options — for example, beveled bristles. The key difference between “corrective” brushes and tonal brushes is their small size — such products are applied to small areas of the skin, almost pointwise.

Note that correctors are often confused with another type of cosmetics for a similar purpose — concealers (see the relevant paragraph). Indeed, according to the method of application, these funds are very similar to each other; accordingly, the brushes for them outwardly can be almost the same. Nevertheless, there is still a difference: in particular, correctors are transparent and can have different colours, while concealers are opaque and come in flesh tones. These features are taken into account in the design of brushes; so it is best to use the “native” tool with the corrector.
