— special design to mimic a sparring partner. Equipment of this type allows you to work out the accuracy of punches and the technique of power moves. Dummies are used mainly on the floor, the vast majority of models have a base filled with water or sand.

The dummie can be stuffed or solid. Ordinary rags are most often used for stuffing. These are used in sports where throws and grabs are practiced. One-piece dummie are most often made from polyvinyl chloride (PVC). There are also dummies made of polypropylene in a protective PVC sheath.
