Active action
Active mechanics
— the presence of active mechanics in the keys. It is a somewhat simplified analogue of hammer action (see the relevant paragraph): the keys provide a link between the force / speed of pressing and the dynamics of the sound, but they have a relatively low resistance and do not give a characteristic tactile feedback. On the one hand, this makes it somewhat difficult to control the dynamics of the sound, especially when switching to an active keyboard from a traditional piano or hammer action keys. On the other hand, getting used to active mechanics does not cause any particular difficulties, and it is inexpensive, which makes it suitable even for low-cost keyboards.active action | clear | Save List |
