— vacuum packaging is found only among springless mattresses. For fillers in such products, porous materials are used that can compress well, and during the packaging process, the finished mattress is twisted into a very tight roll using a special machine and sealed into a strong film. Modern technologies make it possible to "squeeze" mattresses up to 10% of the original volume; accordingly, it is much easier to transport such a roll than a full-size product. And when the film is removed, the mattress “unaided” comes into working position in a few minutes. Note that if the film has already been removed, it is not possible to pack the contents back at home; therefore, it is possible to open the vacuum packaging only after the delivery of the mattress to the place of permanent use.
