— special racks used to mount shock absorbers (see the relevant paragraph) in RC cars. Such a part is usually a figured plate with holes, which is installed vertically on the frame and serves as a support for shock absorbers — they are attached with their upper ends in the holes of the rack.

Racks for shock absorbers are usually made of metal and it is quite difficult to break such a product. Therefore, the purchase of such a part is necessary mainly either when assembling a model from scratch, or when modifying it. Regarding the latter, it is worth noting that the racks usually have several holes for attaching shock absorbers — this allows you to change the position of the latter by adjusting the features of the suspension (in particular, stiffness — the closer the upper end of the shock absorber to the wheel, the stiffer the suspension). At the same time, in separately sold racks there are often more such holes than in stock ones — so installing such a part provides additional options for setting up the suspension. In addition, the replacement of the rack can be done to reduce weight.

Usually, spare parts of this type are intended for specific switchgear machines — one specific model, or several with similar characteristics.
