Anti-corrosion

— shampoos containing an additional additive to protect the body from corrosion. Such compositions are intended for cars on which there are noticeable damage to the paintwork. Note that scratches of small width and depth can be dealt with with a shampoo and polish (see the relevant paragraph); but if there are separate spots on the body from a few millimetres in size, the polish will already be clearly not enough.

It is also worth considering that anticorrosive is not a panacea. Such a detergent is intended solely to prevent corrosion from creeping up and allow the car to survive "with minimal loss" until the next paint update; anticorrosive does not save from the very need for such an update.
