A digital pressure gauge is more accurate and more convenient to use than an analogue one: measurements can be carried out with an accuracy of two decimal places, there is no pointer that vibrates during operation of the unit and complicates reading, and in many models you can also select units of measurement. However digital instruments are not cheap (despite the fact that the mentioned accuracy is rarely critical).
