— planks at the corners of the upper end of the bucket, designed to penetrate into high-standing snow and cut the snow cap along the width of the grip. Subsequently, the snow masses fall into the casing of the augers and are thrown in the right direction. Note that mounting holes for installing snowdrift cutters are provided in many buckets, but snow blowers are rarely equipped with them.
