Electric sterilizers

— devices that can run on electricity. These range from mains-connected home appliances of any type to car models that can be connected to a cigarette lighter, as well as battery-operated portable sterilizers with UV lamps. However, the latter option is rather an exception — in sterilizers, electricity is mainly used to heat water during steam treatment (see "Sterilization"). In this case, the electrical principle of operation may be the only one or combined with "microwave" or chemical (see the relevant paragraphs). And modern heaters (see "Type") work only on electricity.

As for another way to get steam — in a microwave — it allows you to do without the electronic hardware in the sterilizer itself, however, not every home has microwaves and metal objects cannot be processed in them.
