Combining traditional pottery techniques with a modern shape, the Forma terracotta vase is thoughtfully crafted by skilled artisans in Indonesia. Shaped by hand into a folded form and fired in an unde more→rground wood-burning kiln, each terracotta vase is blackened by the kiln's ashes. Artisans then apply flame directly onto the vase in the second firing, creating a one-of-a-kind finish with the look of an ancient find. Shaped by hand in Indonesia, terracotta vase is sun-dried to a leathery hardness before being fired in an underground wood-burning kiln. Its rich brown tone comes from the ash of the spent wood, givin more→g the piece a unique and natural appearance. A second firing intensifies the color further.
