The movable lower knife performs reciprocating movements in a vertical position, entering the groove of the static upper element of the electric scissors and carving a thin spiral chip from the material. Slotted scissors are well suited for shaped cutting of workpieces up to 2 mm thick and perfectly hold a given line.
