Toilets with a small tank
Small tank
— toilets equipped with a reduced capacity cistern — less than 6 liters (usually about 4 – 5 liters). Such a tank has two advantages over a standard tank: it is more compact, and it also reduces water consumption. And in order for flushing to remain effective even with small volumes of water, such models usually provide various design tricks. Because of this, toilets with a small tank can cost more than usual, but if water is consumed by metres, this difference can quickly pay off.Note that another feature that allows you to save money in modern toilets is a half drain (see the relevant paragraph).
