Rectangular bowl toilets

— classically rectangular bowls with straight sides and pronounced (not rounded) corners.All varieties of rectangular bowls are slightly more expensive than semicircular ones (see the relevant paragraph), but are better suited for people of large build (with the same width). Also, such products have a more original appearance, so they can be suitable from an aesthetic point of view. However, a strictly rectangular shape among modern toilets is quite rare — products with a rounding or with an arc are much more often used (see the relevant paragraphs). This is mainly due to the complexity in production; in addition, the corners protruding along the edges of the bowl increase the risk of hitting the toilet with your foot and hurting yourself.
Also note that even in rectangular models, the inner contour of the bowl has rounded corners. Thanks to this, toilet bowls of this shape are no less convenient to clean from the inside than semicircular ones.
