— a variety of educational toys aimed at teaching a child to determine the properties of various objects and compare these properties with each other. One of the traditional sorter options is a set that includes figures of various shapes (geometric figures, animals, cars, etc.) and a box with slots in the lid. At the same time, each slot in shape corresponds to a strictly defined figure, and in order to put all the items in the box, the baby must find its own slot for each figure. There are also sorters with other principles of work — with sorting by length, thickness, colour, etc. However, anyway, such toys develop logical thinking and observation skills, teach you to highlight the important properties of individual objects and the main patterns in sets of several objects.
