Temperature sensors
Temperature sensors
— sensors with temperature detection function.By itself, such detection is very versatile, it can be used in any format — security, fire fighting, household (see "Type"). Accordingly, the features of sensors with this function will be different, depending on the specialization:
— In fire sensors, everything is quite obvious: such devices raise an alarm when the temperature rises critically. Note that only among such models there are purely temperature sensors, without additional types of detection — although most often temperature control is still combined with smoke and/or gas detection.
— Household temperature sensors usually fall into one of two categories. The first is climate sensors that monitor the current temperature and humidity (for example, to control the microclimate through the “smart home” system). The second is leakage sensors, where temperature detection is provided in addition to the main functionality; some of these models even allow the use of thermal sensors only.
— Security sensors with thermal detection are originally designed to detect movement, opening or vibration, and temperature tracking increases the accuracy and reliability of triggering.
