The initial speed of such balls can be quite high, but the muzzle energy is usually noticeably lower than in models of other types. On the other hand, this cannot be called a disadvantage: this type of pneumatic is created mainly for airsoft, and in such games a large muzzle energy is undesirable — it increases the risk of injury to players when hit.
