Air pistols with a smooth barrel

Such barrels are easy to manufacture and inexpensive, they can be used with equal success with both bullets and balls, and they are less contaminated. Their main disadvantage is that the bullet does not stabilize due to rotation (as happens in rifled barrels), which is why the shooting accuracy is somewhat lower. However, in fact, this point becomes critical only in professional shooting, so smooth barrels are widely used today.
