Electric wall chasers

— tools powered by electricity — usually from the mains. Almost all wall chasers are electric (see "Device"), however, this option is also found in joint cutters. The advantages of all units of this type are simplicity, relatively low cost (including in operation), low noise level, and the complete absence of exhaust gases, which allows you to work indoors without restrictions. On the other hand, a power tool can only be used if there are sockets nearby, and the power cable limits mobility and, if the operator is careless, can get under the disc / cutter. In addition, electric floor saws usually require a 400 V connection, which is not available everywhere where electricity is available; see "Power supply voltage" for details.Show
