Fishing cords
Cord
— tackle made of thin polymer fibers woven together. Unlike classic fishing line, such a “braid” practically does not stretch (which, in particular, allows you to control the bait with high accuracy), and its strength with the same diameter is noticeably higher. The line usually has a certain colour, which makes it more visible to both the fisherman (which is good) and the prey (which is undesirable). For this reason, it is believed that such tackle is best suited mainly for spinning fishing, where the fish are less "attentive" and shy.The cord can consist of a different number of cores (threads) — from 3 to 8. The more expensive and better the tackle, the more cores, usually, in it. Note that the "braid" becomes loose with use, and its actual diameter can almost double compared to the originally stated in the characteristics. This must be taken into account when choosing a coil.
