Spinnerbaits
Spinnerbait
— a specific type of nozzles for spinning, which has a combined design. A spinnerbait is a small metal corner, at one end of which a freely rotating petal or several petals is fixed, at the other — a heavy lead head with a hook and a fringe like tentacles surrounding this hook. The fishing line is attached at the bend of the corner. When the spinnerbait moves through the water, the petals are on top and work on the principle of a spinner (see the relevant paragraph), and the “tentacles” oscillate due to movement through the water. Despite the complete "unnaturalness", such lures are very effective when catching predatory fish (perhaps, precisely due to the unusualness, as well as the complex effect on vision, hearing and the lateral line of the fish). At the same time, another important advantage of the spinnerbait is its excellent cross-country ability: such lures are considered perfect for fishing in dense vegetation, they pass through such thickets where any other types of baits hopelessly stick. No offers found
