— porcelain is a special type of ceramics. Its main feature is its high heat capacity with minimal wall thickness, due to which such mugs and cups keep the temperature of hot drinks longer. Another significant advantage of porcelain is the absence of small pores, due to which porcelain dishes do not absorb odours and are easy to clean. There are many varieties of porcelain. Porcelain can be hard or soft, European or Oriental. Additionally, there is French and English porcelain. Among the shortcomings, one can note the rather high price of dishes, which is due to the high cost of raw materials from which porcelain is made.
