Another significant advantage of porcelain is the absence of small pores, due to which porcelain dishes do not absorb odours and are easy to clean. There are many varieties of porcelain. Porcelain can be hard or soft, European or Oriental. Additionally, there is French and English porcelain. Among the shortcomings, one can note the rather high price of dishes, which is due to the high cost of raw materials from which porcelain is made.
