Dishes

— a classic dish is a round or oval dish, similar in design to a small plate, but larger in size. However, there are also various variations: for example, crescent-shaped dishes (see "Form"), dishes of increased depth, as well as models divided into sections. The latter differ from the drawers (see the relevant paragraph) in that the division into sections is purely conditional, and the role of separators is played by protrusions a couple of millimetres high.

Anyway, such dishes are used for serving various foods for several people, with the expectation that after serving the food will be laid out on separate plates. Dishes are quite versatile utensils, they can be used for main dishes, side dishes, some salads (such as “herring under a fur coat”) and fruits (watermelon), etc.
