Oval dishes can be used with equal efficiency both on burners and in the oven (almost all such products are compatible with the oven). At the same time, such a product, unlike a rectangular one (see the relevant paragraph), can be placed diagonally, accommodating a rather large goose dish in a relatively small oven. On the other hand, with an equal size (see the relevant paragraph), oval dishes have a smaller volume than rectangular ones.
