Footswitch

— the number of connectors for connecting pedals (footswitches), provided in the design of the audio interface. The pedal is the most convenient way to quickly switch settings. The specific functions “tied up” to the pedal connectors can be different: in particular, various effects can be turned on and off in this way. Also, the number of connectors for pedals may differ in different models: as a rule, only one such connector is provided; devices with the ability to connect two “footswitches” are much less common.
