— self-propelled cleaners do not need to be pushed during operation — they, by the name, move by themselves; the operator can only adjust the speed of this movement and set the direction. This format of work is very convenient, but it requires a powerful engine and significantly complicates (and therefore increases the cost of) the design. In addition, light models with low performance are usually not so heavy that their movement due to muscular strength causes some inconvenience. Therefore, this feature is found mainly in those units where it would be difficult or even impossible to do without a self-propelled design, in particular, in models with steering (see the relevant paragraph).
