ITTF certificate

— the abbreviation ITTF stands for the International Table Tennis Federation — the body in charge of all official international tournaments, including the development of technical requirements for equipment. In order to be certified by the ITTF, a racquet must have a base that is at least 85% wood and must meet a number of quality requirements. Thus, the ITTF certificate not only allows the racquet to be used in international competitions, but also, to a certain extent, is a guarantee of quality. In addition, such products will be useful for those who are just starting their way to "big sport": if you plan to participate in official tournaments in the future, it is better to train with the appropriate equipment from the very beginning. It is worth noting here that rackets of almost any class and price category, including inexpensive “beginner” models, can have an ITTF certificate. And in sets (see "Type") with this feature, not only rackets have a certificate, but also additional equipment — balls and nets.
