— various lighting effects (light bulbs, flashing lights, etc.) give the stretcher a bright appearance and make it more visible — which is especially important in yards where cars can drive. Note that a set of such effects may include an imitation of headlights, but this is just an imitation, and not full-fledged lighting for the dark.
